What is Absolutely Pointless: A Trivia Show and who is the host?

Hi, I'm Jana and I'm a trivia nerd. I've got a vast store of useless information and really good research skills. I created this show with the primary goal to create conversations at a time when it seems harder to do so in the real world. I'm just the host though, let's talk about the show:

Absolutely Pointless: A Trivia Show is conversational, question-based show and podcast consisting of 4 rounds:

1. It's Just Trivia

   • A round-robin style trivia section where players choose from 10 categories and attempt to answer the question it represents.

   • The round ends when all the answers have been found.

2. The Interview

   • Players watch a prerecorded interview of the episode's featured guest and try to guess the answers to trivia questions presented to them throughout the interview.

3. Topic of the Week

   • The episode's featured guest will share a story about their passion, trivial knowledge, or something interesting to them. Throughout the story, players answer questions related to the guest's topic.

4. Were You Paying Attention?

   • Lightning round trivia with questions on things said throughout the week's episode.

The players are not competing for points! It's trivia, just because.
